People wonder what I mean when I call myself an Organizer Coach. The quick answer is “Professional Organizer meets Life Coach.” But that’s still a pretty muddy answer.

A Professional Organizer is an expert at organizing. You can expect your organizer to have a tool box of organizing techniques to manage your time, your productivity, your stuff.

But when I work as a coach, the expert takes a back seat. Sure, I still bring the expert with me, but my perspective changes. I may be the expert at organizing technique, but you are the expert on what works and what doesn’t work for you.

When I work as a coach, instead of being the director, I help you to find the best answer for your specific situation. When the decisions are tough, I will remind you of the vision you set. But you always have the final say.

So what do I do? I help people find space and time so that they can think and plan.
